WHAT IS ALL-ON-4

What Is All-on-4 Implant Treatment?

All-on-4 is a full-arch tooth replacement technique. Instead of placing one implant per missing tooth — which would require 10 to 14 implants and often extensive bone grafting — four titanium implants are placed at strategic angles in the jaw. The two rear implants are tilted, which lets them anchor into denser bone toward the front of the jaw and avoid areas where bone has thinned.

That angling is the entire point. It means most patients who were told they “don’t have enough bone for implants” are candidates without needing a graft or a sinus lift.

The four implants support a single fixed bridge that replaces every tooth in that arch. It is screwed in place. You do not take it out at night.
